Hamza El-Rufai, son of Former Nigerian  Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has died.

He died in Abuja today in a car crash.

The father, El-Rufai himself broke the unfortunate news on his Faceboook page at about 8:00 am .

 “From Allah we came and to Him we shall return. Please join our family in praying for the repose of the soul of my son, Hamza El-Rufai who died this morning in a motor accident in Abuja,” El-Rufai posted.

In accordance with Islamic injunctions, the late Hamza is expected to be buried today, Tuesday, 29th July, 2014.

In November 2011, El Rufai’s oldest daughter also died in the UK after a brief illness.
