Some top officials of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 23 local government areas of Sokoto State, northern Nigeria on Friday received 124 vehicles from the state governor, Aliyu Wamakko.

But Wamakko said the vehicles were donated by members of the party to facilitate the party’s activities in the build up to the 2015 general polls.

Wamakko was assisted in the distribution by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal, who is the governorship candidate of the APC in the 2015 elections in the state.

The vehicles, which included Peugeot and KIA brands, were handed over to the chairmen, Secretaries, women and youth leaders of the party.
