Alhaji Aminu Masari, former speaker House of Representatives and APC gubernatorial aspirant Katsina state has promised to initiate people-oriented programme that would lead the state to optimal growth and prosperity if elected in 2015.

Masari told newsmen in Sokoto that already a comprehensive development plan has been developed to utilize the economic potentials of the state so as to impact positively on the lives of the people.

He said that the state has the capacity to develop its natural resources for the well being of the governed .

He said that the APC led administration is ready to move the state to greater heights.

” We have mapped out a blue print of action that will ensure massive development with professionals to move our state forward” he said.

“The public service will also be catered for, and as professionals we can do that with the help of the citizens of the state”.

“If I am successful in my bid, I will make sure that the state is secured and problems bedeviling it will be solved through the implementation of a people oriented programme”.

He said that Agriculture sector will be given priority attention with modern farming input made available to ensure massive food production. According to him, mechanized farming through effective distribution of farming inputs will be made available as part of the commitment towards creating job opportunity for massive food production in the state.

He called on the people of the state to work towards ensuring political change for the overall political growth of the state. He expressed optimism that the people of the state will massively vote for the APC during the forth coming general elections.

He said that people oriented policies and programs that will have direct impact on the lives of the people will be implemented.

Masari also called on youth in the state to shun all kind of violence to ensure peaceful conduct of the electoral processes
