Saudis open new year with the beheading of citizen

Thursday, January 1, 2015 1:05 pm

A Saudi convicted of drug trafficking became the first person executed in 2015 in the ultra-conservative Muslim kingdom which beheaded 87 people last year, according to an AFP tally.

Malik bin Said al-Sayaari was put to the sword in the Al-Hasa district of Eastern Province after a repeat conviction for hashish smuggling, the interior ministry said.

Saudi Arabia has stepped up its use of the death penalty despite repeated appeals from the United Nations and human rights watchdogs.

Last year’s tally marked a significant increase on the 78 executions recorded in 2013.

Rape, murder, apostasy and armed robbery as well as drug trafficking are punishable by death under Saudi Arabia’s strict version of Islamic sharia law.

Was it Democrat president’s that wandered around holding hands with Saudi leaders? Saudi Arabia is a popular place among the GoP so I fail to see why you blame liberals for their actions.

    1. Molesting little boys and farm animals is a-ok!
    2. Murder only applies when muslims are the “victim”.
    3. Apostasy has nothing to do with respecting other races and religions that muslims claim to do.
    4. Robbery (jizya) is a demanded payment of the dhimmi.

Somehow the liberal progressive left and the Hollywood trolls will still find a way to portray America (foreign policy) as being far worse. These pathetic parasites will enlist useless eaters like Niel Young, Michael Moore and Robert Redford to screech out a few meaningless metaphors…..in between wiping the drool overflowing from their bottom lip, to get the antiwar activists fired up to the point where now they’ve given themselves a purpose in life. A decline in the suicide rate can be directly attributed to a (false) sense of self worth generated by this purpose even if one, in their natural state is confused, misguided, misinformed, dependant upon welfare and government and of no use to humanity…this is the left wing side of politics and it’s scary.
