Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State today assured the state workers that his administration would settle all the outstanding salaries and allowances the government is owing the workers in the next three months.

Governor Ajimobi who disclosed this through a statement from his office disclosed that he has approved N2b for the payments of the junior workers in the state.

According to him, the N2b he approved for the payment of salaries of junior workers was from the N2.3b he recently received from the Federal Government.

Assuring that any fund that comes into the state from the Federal Government any moment from now would be used to settle April salary.

He however debunked receiving any form of bailout from the Federal Government as he noted that the N2.3b he recently received was from the LNG money that was shared between the 36 states and the Federal Government stressing that it would be wrong to describe the fund as a bailout.
