Governor Dickson renders account of his stewardship to Nigerian editors, a replica of his Town Hall meetings with the people

At the Banquet Hall of Government House, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Governor Seriake Dickson renders account of his stewardship to editors at the on-going Nigerian Guild of Editors’ conference. This is a replica of his Town Hall meetings with the people of Bayelsa where he explains how monthly allocations are spent and the citizens have right to ask questions.

What is different about such Town Hall meetings is that Dickson, when he came on board, sent a bill to the state legislature making it an impeachable offence if a governor fails to hold such town hall meetings for three consecutive months.
