Former Rivers State  governor Chibuike Amaechi of Rivers state did not fly  to London after he was snubbed by President Muhammadu Buhari in being appointed to a major position. And he did not criticise President Buhari either.

To shred all rumours about him, the former Governor arrived Port Harcourt this morning.

Amaechi who is on a private visit came to attend the opening of St Vincent Due Paul Catholic Church,Elechi beach Port Harcourt.

The former Governor Amaechi was received at Airport by Dakuku Peterside,, the Governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress APC and other party faithful later in the day.

He is billed to address APC supporters at the Empowerment Support Initiative, ESI,office at Woji Road,Port Harcourt,after a private audience with Dakuku Peterside.

The Governor had refuted online Media reports that he spoke to some Journalists expressing disappointment that President Buhari did not appoint him into one of the key positions announced Thursday.
