Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has booked a spot in the Shanghai Masters final, beating Rafael Nadal, 6-4, 0-6, 7-5

It was a match that hard-fighting Nadal, really worked hard not to lose, overcoming his first set deficit, to level the score 1-1 with a resounding bashing of the Frenchman, with a bagel. Much as Tsonga tried to avoid falling into the bagel pit, Nadal was unyielding.

But Tsonga himself was later to overcome his demons in the second set by rallying to beat Nadal, in the second break point he had against the Spaniard.

He will now await the outcome of the second semi final match between world number one, Novak Djokovic and Number two, Andy Murray.
