After 30 minutes, Nigeria’s Dream Team VI  was still  leading their Malian counterparts in the Under 23 African Nations Cup.

Ajayi Oluwafemi Junior, who plays for CS SFAXIEN, had shot Nigeria ahead of  Mali in the 16th minute, via a sensational back-heeled kick, that stunned the Malian keeper.

It was the second match of the Group B, in which Egypt and Algeria earlier played a 1-1 draw.

In the 34th minute, Nigeria increased its goal tally, with a second goal by Usman Mohammed, who plays for Taraba United FC
