The Rivers State House of Assembly will today screen nominees into governing boards of different parastatals and agencies.

Those persons billed to appear before the Rivers lawmakers have had their names submitted to the House of Assembly by Governor Nyesom Wike for screening and confirmation.

The boards are the Rivers State Bureau on Public Procurement, the Rivers State Roads Maintenance and Rehabilitation Agency and the Rivers State Primary Healthcare Management Board.

The nominees are: Professor Okey Onuchukwu as Chairman of the Rivers State Bureau on Public Procurement; Okay Okah as Chairman of the Rivers State Roads Maintenance and Rehabilitation Agency and Professor Princewill Chike as Chairman of the Rivers State Primary Healthcare Management Board.

A statement signed by the Director of Press of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Tams Dede, also invited Isaruk Ugbana Martin for screening and confirmation as member of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission and Michael Amadi as Chairman of Etche Local Government Caretaker Committee.

The statement advised the nominees to come along with relevant copies of their credentials and submit to the clerk of the assembly before 10am today
