In the heat of the tiff between Olamide and Don Jazzy today, the winner has been an agency of the Lagos state government which was not part of the verbal exchanges: the Lagos State Waste Management Agency.
It all started when Olamide tweeted ‘Biko, leave trash for LAWMA’ in one of his reactions to Don Jazzy.
I went through all ds ish when I was hustlin like Kesh …. But mehn no one to fight for me .. I had to do that for the poor boy ..

Even me , I ddnt have the grace to have every single back to back in number one spot .. Biko leave trash for lawma .. ?

The reference to LAWMA generated a hashtag of its own, #leavetrashforlawma, which LAWMA lashed on to widen its campaign about its work.
LAWMA with fewer than 500 followers tweeted:
in 2016 we urge all our customers to #leavetrashforlawma use the licensed PSP operator in your area
— LAGOS WASTE (@Lawma_gov) January 2, 2016
And suggestions even came that LAWMA should make Olamide its ambassador having given it an unsolicited ad copy that its agency could not have dreamt of.
#leavetrashforLAWMA, a punchy catchword continues to trend.
