Redeemed Church starts 50 days fasting

The annual fasting and prayer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God for year 2016 will commence on Monday, 11 January and end on 29 February. Every true and committed member of the church is expected to observe the 50-day fasting and prayer this year.

In a release in possession of our correspondent, the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, urged members to seek God’s face during the period of the fasting.

The church started her annual fasting some years ago. It is on record that members of the church fasted for 100 days in 2014 while they fasted for 49 days in 2015.
