John Mikel Obi: wanted in China

Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel is wanted by Shanghai SIPG.

Sven Goran Eriksson’s club are willing to offer £6million for the 29 year-old Nigerian plus wages of £60,000 a week after tax, according to reports.

It is not clear yet if the Nigerian international will be tempted by the offer to leave his much loved Chelsea.

Mikel joined Chelsea in 2006, after a controversial move from Lyn Oslo, that saw the player in a transfer muddle also with Manchester United.
