Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the Information Minister has said that the Federal Government has no intention of regulating online publications.

He said this in Lagos at a meeting with online editors this morning. It was a continuation of his meetings with various stakeholders. He added that the government believes strongly that online journalists are responsible enough to make their media credible.

He promised also to “do our best to ensure your survival” in terms of conducive environment and advertisement patronage.

However, he enjoined the editors to publish accurate reports and avoid partisanship.
