Chief Coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Sunday Oliseh, has confessed that he did not deliberately mean to call his critics insane in a recent outburst on the YouTube.

At the weekend, the former Nigerian international came out to call his critics ‘insane’ for calling for his sack after the poor outing of his home based Eagles at the just concluded Rwanda 2016 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) where Nigeria crashed out in the first round .

He also berated his former international teammates, who he claimed have been most unfair to him with their attacks in the media.

But in what appeared to be a retraction, Oliseh took to his Tweeter handle to debunk all the utterances, saying that he did not mean to call his critics insane, blaming editing error.
He said he would never have referred to his countrymen as insane.

He tweeted: “How dare I insult 170 million people who I love and have shown me so much love? Please forgive the error of editing! God bless you all’

“ Please when I spoke of critics, I did not mean the general public of Nigeria! I would never dare refer to my beloved country men as insane!’”
