Lille of France goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama has debunked the rumours milling around that he is planning to stage a comeback to the Super Eagles after Chief Coach Sunday Oliseh is no longer with the team.

Media reports have quoted Acting Chief Coach of the Eagles, Samson Siasia to have said that the coaching crew will go for the best legs the country can offer for the two-legged Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Egypt next month.

“We will look at the players we believe can help the team, including Vincent Enyeama and Emmanuel Emenike who retired from the team last year,” Siasia said.

But in his reaction, the former Eagles’ captain who retired last year due to disagreement between him and Oliseh said he won’t rescind his decision to quit Eagles because new coaches are now on board.

He said he has made a final decision on his career with Nigeria which is the final.

“I don’t want to talk about this issue again. I think my earlier decision stands,” he said on a Lagos-based radio station on Monday.

Meanwhile, Chairman of Technical and Development Committee of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Chris Green has informed that the new coaches of the Eagles have been directed to submit their programme for the qualifiers against Egypt.

According to Green, the NFF is expecting the programme latest by Thursday this week. The programme, he said, will contain the team list and other things the coaches believe will give them success against the Pharaohs of Egypt.

Green revealed that the NFF believes in the ability of Siasia and the rest of the coaches to win the two matches against Egypt, adding that the futures of the coaches in the Eagles depend largely on the outcome of the matches against Egypt,.
