The Alaafin of Oyo,Oba Lamidi Adeyemi has paid a royal visit to the governor of Ogun state, Ibikunle Amosun in Abeokuta.
The monarch, who arrived at the Oke Mosan office of the governor around past 11 am was accompanied by some Oyo High Chiefs.
Immediately the monarch was ushered in by the governor and some of his kitchen cabinet members, Alaafin and the governor went into the conference room for a closed door meeting which lasted for over an hour.
None of the monarch’s aides and those of the governor was allowed into the room while the meeting lasted.
Our correspondent gathered that the monarch had come to see the governor over his mediating role in halting the crisis raging between two paramount rulers in the state.
Governor Ibikunle Amosun recently met with both Awujale of Ijebuland,Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, Ogbagba II and Alake of Egbaland,Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, to mediate in the supremacy crisis that nearly fractured the traditional council.

The source further revealed that the Oyo monarch may soon meet with both Awujale and Alake.
Coming out of the meeting, neither the governor nor his visitor,Oba Lamidi Adeyemi,Alaafin of Oyo spoke with newsmen.
