Nigeria’s Queen of pop music, Tiwa Savage maligned in the social media by her husband of three years, Tunji Balogun, a.k.a TeeBillz has poured out her heart on the horrors of her marriage and why she has decided to opt out of the relationship.

She spoke about her struggles to sustain the marriage and give a facade of a happy union when internally things had fallen apart.

Here are some highlights of what she said in an interview with the online Pulse TV:
-Her husband takes cocaine and is a heavy drinker. he could be suicidal

-The relationship has broken down for more than two months. They were trying to work things out.

-Couple had not spoken for a week before husband posted the dirty linen on Instagram

-She had covered up a lot of things in the relationship

-Her husband was so uncaring when she had a recent miscarriage in Jamaica

–Since her baby son was born, TJ as she calls her man, had not spent One Naira on the baby, yet he spends money in barbing his hair twice a week, he spends money on his laundry and takes women to clubs and hotels and pays for them

-TJ spends many nights outside of the home and comes home in the morning
–TJ was sacked as her manager because he was stealing from her and also taking a big cut as management fee, 40 per cent from her engagements, far above industry standards

–She is grateful for TJ’s role in the early part of her career

–Denies the image of her mum painted by TJ

–Puts on record: I have never cheated on my husband, not with Don Jazzy, not with Dr Sid, not Tu Face not with any body

–On the contrary, her husband is the one committing adultery
–Husband is jobless, lives a lie, racks up debts and is at present in EFCC trouble over a debt of N45million

–The marriage is over. It’s been over for a while.

    I feel sorry for this woman. But that is what happens with fame. Be strong. Since both of you have gone on air to discuss this broken marriage, I will be surprised if you go back again. I wish you good luck.
