French coach Paul Le Guen named by the Nigeria Football Federation as the new technical adviser of the national team, Super Eagle on Monday has rejected the job.

Herve Penot, ‎a reporter with L’Equipe, a popular French newspaper said via his twitter handle that the French Coach said he is yet to agree with the NFF on the terms and conditions to coach the Super Eagles

Indeed, the reporter said Le Guen told him he’d no idea he was being considered because the NFF never discussed or agreed on any terms with him.

The Frenchman said he was therefore shocked that NFF could name him as a technical adviser.

Penot tweeted via his Twitter handle @hpenot_lequipe: “Paul Le Guen rejects Nigeria. Frenchman insists the country’s FA (NFF) yet to terms & ‎conditions to be coach.”

There are however speculations that the Frenchman Paul whose last coaching assignment was with the Oman senior national team was offering to coach Eagles from his native France.

Le Guen was sacked as the coach of the Oman national team on November 2015 following a poor start of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign.
