President Muhammadu Buhari, has approved the composition of the Governing Boards of two agencies in the nation’s maritime sector- the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
Bolaji Adebiyi, Director Press, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation who announced this in a statement on Friday said the new board of NPA is headed by Emmanuel Olajide Adesoye-Chairman.
Other members of the board are Supo Shasore Suleiman Ibrahim Halilu, Constance Harry Marshal, Umar Shu’aibu, Charles Efe Emukowhate Sylveste, Hadiza Bala Usman, Mohammed Bello Koko, , Dr. Sekonte Davis, Professor Idris Abubakar and Mrs. I. J. Uche-Okoro.
The Chairman of the new board of NIMASA is Major General Jonathan India Garba .
The other members are Asekomhe Oaakhia Kenneth, Mohammed GidadoMuazu, Hon. Barrister EbeleObi- S. U. Galadanchi, Ms Nene Betty, Dakuku Peterside, Rear Admiral Adeniyi Osinowo, Bashir Yusuf Jamoh Joseph Oluwarotimi Fashakin and Gambo Ahmed.
