Edo state Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, has declared Tuesday September 27 and Wednesday September 28 as public holiday for the conduct of the gubernatorial election scheduled for September 28.

According to the governor, the purpose of the holidays is to enable workers travel to wherever they registered as voters to exercise their franchise.

He announced the holiday at an event organised by the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress in his honour, for making the labour movement proud.
