An ace broadcaster who retired as an Executive Director, Commercial Services, Nigeria Television Authority and the immediate past Chairman of Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State, BCOS, Prince Bayo Sanda is dead.

Sanda, who hailed from Oyo town and was very close to Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, died on February 5, 2017 at the age of 79.

Sympathisers who have been thronging his Oyo residence described the deceased as a generous and lovable good man who would do anything to help anybody who seeks his help when he was alive.

His two children, Iyabo and Akinade said they would miss their father while affirming that the vacuum the deceased left in the family would be difficult to fill.

What if baba had other children you know nothing about?

Some of the information here is incorrect. Aside from his broadcasting career which is the only accurate thing, kudos for getting that right. There is no accurate mention of his kids. He has 4 surviving children named Iyabode, Folasade, Adeyinka and Adedayo. His relationship to the Olafin and palace are because he himself was a Prince of Oyo. And as for the Akinade mentioned, he has no son by that name. Please make sure to verify before putting up information for journalistic integrity
