Holley Memorial Hospital gets School of Nursing

The Federal Government through the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria has given approval to Holley Memorial Hospital, College of Nursing to commence academic training of Nurses In Nigeria. This is contained in a Press Release signed by Mr. Justice Onos, Media Assistant to the administrator of the college.

The college is located in the premises of 69 years old Holley Memorial Hospital,Ochadamu, Ofu, Local Government Area of Kogi State. It is owned by United Evangelical Church, UEC and billed to begin training of students in October, 2017.

According to the release, the training is a 3-year  programme which will lead to the award of Registered Nurse of Nigeria (RN).

While receiving the approval letter, Provost of the College, Salawu Adinni Yahaya, said the institution was set up to train Nurses with the best professional ethics in linewith global best practices for the benefit of mankind.

In his words, the Administrator of the Hospital, Rev. Abraham Ogwo, thanked God, members of UEC and the general public for their support in securing the approval. Ogwo promised that the institution will always uphold the best professional standards in all her undertakings.
