African Bar Association holds executive, council meetings in Nigeria

African Bar Association, (AFBA), the fearless voice of the legal profession on the continent will be holding its executive and council meetings in Nigeria. This is contained in a press release signed by Signed: Osa Director, its Special Adviser (Media and Publicity).

The Executive and Council meeting of AFBA will hold at the Presidential Hotel, Port Harcourt, Nigeria from April 6 – 8th, 2017. The meetings will be chaired by the President and Council chairman, Hanibal Uwaifo and J.B. Daudu, SAN respectively.

Council members from across the continent are expected to attend. Indeed, council members from Southern African, East Africa and West Africa have indicated their interest to attend the important meeting, just as representatives in North America and U.K will also be expected to attend.

The meetings among others will discuss and fine tune the arrangements for the annual conference of the Association coming later in August 2017 which will also be hosted by the Garden City of Port Harcourt.

The President of AFBA, Hanibal Uwaifo pledges to deliver in hosting a successful Annual Conference with the council meeting serving as a dress rehearsal.
