The Church is one of the numerous places Nigerian politicians targeted for votes, especially in the 2015 general elections. Indeed, the then President Goodluck Jonathan started making rounds of churches months before the election. His main challenger, Muhammadu Buhari also visited the Redeemed Church and some Christian cleric in furtherance of his ambition. Politicians in other parts of the world seem to be taking cues from their Nigerian counterparts. At least, that seem to be the case with the United Kingdom Prime Minister, Theresa May who attended Sunday Service at the Jesus House, a Redeemed Christian Of God parish in London on Sunday. Jesus House, headed by Pastor Agu Irukwu is one of the many branches of Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s RCCG in the UK.  The Britons will go to election on June 8^th and analysts have indicated that getting re-elected may not be a tea party for the Prime Minister.
