OPEYEMI: EFCC says he has been spreading the allegedly fake news

“Nigerians beware of this merchants of evil and destabilization as they have continued to insist on their stories without any proof even when discerning minds have asked them to retract and apologise to their followers. They are however under watch.

On how the Facebook post were linked to the two men, EFCC had in a post on its Facebook pst late Wednesday said “A certain INNOCENT ONYEKACHI ORITSETIMEYIN AKPOTEDJA ADJENUHGURE on Wednesday July 12, 2017 maliciously posted, on Facebook, a misleading update that the EFCC raided Senator Ahmed Makarfi’s farm and recovered $42 million, less than 2 hours after the Supreme Court’s judgment.

“Investigations have revealed that Innocent made the post from Warri at exactly 20:30pm.

“Another ADEOLA SAM OPEYEMI shared the same post on his timeline and has continued to insist on the falsehood as true.

“Unsuspecting Nigerians have been feasting and sharing the post without recourse to further findings.

“The public is hereby informed that the EFCC did NOT visit Makarfi “LESS THAN TWO HOURS”. If we have reason to visit Makarfi or any other person, we shall do that and Nigerians will be carried along.

“However, on this, let us all hold Innocent accountable, Nigerians need further explanations from him, as to the misleading ‘news’. Until he comes up with further reasonable explanation, Nigerians need to know that Innocent is GUILTY.”
