Governor Yahaya Bello

Sunday Karimi,  a member of the House of Representatives, representing Yagba Federal constituency of Kogi State, has described the administration of the state Governor, Alh. Yahaya Bello as inhuman, satanic and wicked. The lawmaker accused the Governor of inflicting poverty and misery on people of the state.

Karimi advised Governor Bello to start packing his belongings from Lugard House because “the suffering masses and those he has inflicted with poverty, are set to vote him out of office in 2019.”

Karimi made the remarks yesterday at a meeting of stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party, Kogi West Senatorial District, held in Lokoja, the state capital.

The reps member boasted that the PDP will take over the state in 2019, lamented the level of poverty, hunger and deaths recorded due to hardship under the leadership of Governor Bello.

“Never has suffering reduced the people of the state to beggars. The suffering as currently witnessed in the state calls for worries, as people are daily dieing owing to pain inflicted on them by the present government. The PDP is tired of complaints from across the state about a focus-less  and direction-less Bello led administration.”

“While the Governor and his associates are busy buying properties across the country, several people are dieing of hunger. The present administration should start packing its loads out of government house as it has lost the confidence of the citizens of the state.

“A situation where workers are not paid their salaries, pensioners are owed several months of pension, the living standard of the citizens in the state is a cause for worry.”

Earlier, Vice Chairman of PDP West Senatorial District, Barr. Kola Ojo said the meeting was geared towards intimating members of the party on developments and the need to reunite for victory in 2019. He said the ruling APC in the state has failed, describing the leadership of Governor Bello as lacking the needed human face and purpose.
