Popular showbiz personality, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy on Monday led a group of youths made up of members of different civil society organizations in a protest to demand the return of Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari who left Nigeria for medical treatment on 7 May to return to the country or resign if he is unable to continue in office as a result of his sickness. The group procession from Unity fountain down to Aso Rock Presidential Villa gate on Monday was the beginning of a daily sit- out initiative to demand for the President Buhari to resume work or tender his resignation letter. The group which carried out the protest under aegis of “Concerned Nigerians,” said it will organize similar exercise in other states of the country as well as London where the President has been receiving treatment.
