Akarigbo of Remoland HRM Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi (Torungbuwa ll)

The Nigeria Vice President, Professor Oluyemi Osinbajo GCON,SAN yesterday advised the 19th Akarigbo of Remoland to combine his degrees of law,mathematics and science to rule the people.

Osinbajo made this advice at the Corolation and Installation of the 19th Akarigbo of Remoland HRM Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi (Torungbuwa ll) held at Gateway International Stadium Sagamu,Ogun State.

Adding that it is noteworthy that he has managed to maintain peace and harmony,occasional challenges notwithstanding. Vice President however ever prayed for the new king.

Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun, in his remarks said “Obaship institution has taken an all encompassing road. An Oba is not just there but a symbol of the people in the community he rules.

He therefore urge the new Akarigbo to support the Amosun-led led administration in order to move the state forward.

Amosun charged the Kabiyesi to ensure he works with experience in order to attract both private and public businesses to make Ogun State excel.

Gov Ibikunle however advise the indegenes of Sagamu and Remoland to continue to live in peace and harmony.

Amosun also indulge the Kabiesi to work with security agencies for the betterment of his people.

And ensure that they pay their taxes always so development in Ogun State can continue to move forward.

Oni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi recalled that same day 2015 was his Corolation and Installment into office as the Oni of Ife,also the new Akarigbo is his name sake.

As he went ahead to bless the land with lots of prayers.

HRM Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi after receiving the staff of Office from the executive Gov of Ogun State appreciates the presence of the Vice President and the governor for their support all the time.

Akarigbo,the state government truly deserves all the praise we can shower on it for overseeing one of the most efficient and transparent selection processes ever for an Obaship stool on Yorubaland.

This is a clear indication that we are situated in a state where visionary focus and highly patriotic acts frame our citizens ship and leadership,resulting in governance that is making giants strides on all fronts with regards to our developmental imperatives.

“We accept the staff of Office presented to us today with great pride and humility. We affirm that this important symbol of authority will rekindle our desire and effort to lead our people a right.

Oba Adewale however charged that “we have to work together as one large family,government can not do it alone.”

“We have to supplement the effort of government, we have to assist them to cater to the needs of our growing number of unemployed youths.”

“We have to carry our women along,those born entrepreneurs who have to juggle the challenges of the domestic front with today’s current realities of dwindling resources.

Together,west assist government to provide a peaceful environment in our our communities so that the return of industries to Remo will continue to grow in leaps and bounds.”He added
