Dr. Victor Oye, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has called on Nigerians to show greater love and tolerance to one another in order to move the nation forward.

Oye made the call in his Christmas to Nigerians made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Awka on Tuesday.
According to him, Nigeria can only make progress when the people radiate love, forgive and tolerate one another in a most altruistic manner.
He said that the lack of genuine love among Nigerians was largely responsible for most of the challenges hindering the nation’s growth and development.
Oye said, “As we gradually draw closer to the 2019 general elections, there is an urgent need for introspection among the Nigerian political elite.
“There is the need for Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of love, tolerance and sportsmanship before, during and after the elections.”
He called on the security agencies to be proactive in tackling crimes, especially during the Yuletide to ensure violence-free Christmas and New Year celebrations.
The party chairman thanked APGA faithful across the country for remaijing steadfast with the party and urged them to work for it’s success at the upcoming polls.
