Sen. Jonah Jang on Wednesday told Nigerians to be resolute in their decision to return PDP to power come Feb. 16.

The former Plateau Governor made the call in Shendam during the PDP Southern Senatorial Zone Campaign rally held at the Township Stadium, Shendam.

The senator said that the slightest opportunity Nigerians gave to APC “only brought down the Nigerian economy which gave birth to poverty, hunger and insecurity as well as suffering.’’

“We have to be resolute come Feb. 16 and vote Abubakar Atiku and return PDP to power to continue from where it stopped at touching lives with its people-oriented policies and programmes.

“Nigerians shall marvel by what PDP has in stock for them if voted into power on Feb. 16 because we have learnt from our past mistakes.

“You can see what APC has done to the economy and security of this nation in the three and half years that Nigerians gave it their mandate,‘’ he said.

Jang urged Plateau residents to vote wisely on March 2, to give Sen. Jeremiah Useni, the PDP governorship candidate of Plateau, the opportunity to pilot the affairs of the state.

Earlier, Mr Theophilus Dakas, National PDP Vice Chairman, Central Zone, expressed happiness with the crowd of supporters that came out to welcome Atiku during his visit to Plateau.

Dakas assured Plateau people of good quality leadership from both Atiku and Jeremiah Useni for Nigeria and Plateau respectively.
