Idowu Owolabi arrested for having an unlawful carnal knowledge of his 21 yrs old biological daughter

Men of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested a 45 – year- old man,  Idowu Owolabi, for allegedly having an carnal knowledge of his 21 yrs old biological daughter (Name withheld).

The suspect was arrested following a complaint by the victim at Oja-Odan Divisional headquarters.

The suspect had complained to the Police that sometimes in March 2018, she followed her father to farm at Fagboun Village and at the farm, her father forcefully had carnal knowledge of her.

She stated further that since then, the father has been continuously having unlawful carnal knowledge of her with a threat that he will kill her if she dare tell anybody about it.

Upon the report, the DPO Oja-Odan CSP Olayemi Jacob led his detectives to the suspect’s resident where he was promptly arrested.

On interrogation, the suspect who was said to be married to three women admitted committing the crime, but blamed it all on the devil.

The case has been transferred to State Criminal investigation and intelligence department for proper investigation and possible prosecution of the suspect.
