The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted sunny to moderate dust hazy weather conditions over most parts of the country and early morning mist/fog conditions over the coastal south on Sunday.

NiMet’s Weather Outlook on Saturday in Abuja predicted moderate dust hazy conditions over the central region with day and night temperatures of 27 to 36 and 10 to 21 degrees Celsius respectively.

The agency predicted that the Northern States would experience sunny and hazy conditions throughout Sunday with day and night temperatures of 27 to 34 and 10 to 17 degrees Celsius respectively.

According to NiMet, Southern States will experience moderate dust haze conditions over the inland cities with early morning mist/fog over the coast.

“Later in the day, moderate dust haze with visibility range of three to five kilometres over the region with day and night temperatures of 33 to 37 and 16 to 23 degrees Celsius respectively.

“Sunny and moderate dust haze conditions are expected to prevail over the country within the next 72 hours,” NiMet predicted.
